The weekend in Boston

Although I wasn't really a true tourist this past weekend, since it was a working weekend, I didn't do much sight-seeing. But I did manage to capture just a few favorite images on the trip.

I had a connecting flight in one of my favorite cities, Chicago. I was actually only on land in Chicago for about 20 minutes. I was thankful for bootcamp as I was running to get to my next flight.

I stayed on Beacon Street in Brookline for the weekend and fell in LOVE with the neighborhood. Beautiful tree-lined streets and classic Boston architecture. And, the best part - a Starbucks two blocks up the street. I thought this Walgreen's building was the coolest.

I found a yummy local Japanese sushi restaurant. Joey, would be sooo jealous.

I enjoyed late Saturday evening just strolling the streets and chatting with Charles and Michael, a couple of the locals. I think we actually sat on the park bench talking for a couple of hours. Thanks guys, for the conversation and laughs.

I think Boston has one of the most picturesque skylines I have seen on a waterfront. The skyline along the wharf is awesome.

I love the beach. I love how it smells. I love how it sounds. So, getting a short stop in at North Shore was great. The beaches in the Northeast are so beautiful. North Shore brought back memories of Provincetown and a vacation I had a few years back.

But, my absolute favorite part of the weekend....

meeting Breanne and Brandon! Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys all day...on one of the few days you have got to spend together in what probably has seemed like forever. Wow, I LOVE my job! - Cheryl

Cheryl,
The Beacon Street Walgreens is a block or two from the birthplace of JFK. Great city. Philly, Boston, Baltimore, all great places to be in the spring and summer.
