Thanks For Stopping By Our Booth

So, here was our booth at the Little Rock Bridal Fair this weekend. You would remember us from the lime green love seat!

We were really happy with our booth and how it turned out...especially after two or three little shopping trips over the two days! It was so much fun being part of the fair and meeting so many of you. Especially all of Jill's friends...seems like every girl who stopped at the booth knew her!

We will be giving away our complete photography package this week. Right now the registration slips are packed in one of the boxes that came out of the truck at 10pm last night. I'll get those out and call the winner this week!

Also, if you are the winner of our bridal or engagement sessions that were given away at the fair, please call. I'd love to hear from you. With all the activity, I didn't even hear the names of the winners.

If you stopped by the booth, please call this week and let's schedule a time to get together for coffee and look through all the options for your wedding photography. The fair was amazing, there were so many things under one roof. I hope you all got great ideas to create your dream wedding. But, with all the competing vendors, colors, and sounds, some girls were a little overwhelmed, to say the least. A consultation is a free service we offer to help you define what type of photography you'd like to have and look at the album options. Call 870.219.6504 to schedule your consultation.

I look forward to hearing from you! - Cheryl

Bridal Fair This Weekend! Find the Lime Green Loveseat!

I am so excited about the Arkansas Democrat Gazette Bridal Fair this weekend in Little Rock. This will be my first large vendor exhibit. I cannot wait to meet all the newly engaged brides who are trying to plan all the meticulous details for their wedding day. I think that part is one of the most fun parts of this job - meeting new people. I just love hearing how couples met, and how excited they get talking about the weddings they plan.

I have spent months planning my display and how I want to contribute to the success of this bridal fair. I think we as vendors have a huge responsibility in how happy people are with the fair. I have three major give-aways planned. The Democrat Gazette will be giving two away as door prizes - a fabulous bridal fashion shoot and an engagement session. We will also register brides-to-be during the fair for a complete wedding photography package. You can only register for this prize at our booth on Sunday. We also have fair special deals on weddings booked with registered visitors to the booth, and those who will book us on Sunday.

The Democrat Gazette has gone all out to ensure that every detail for your wedding planning is covered in their vendor line-up. I want you all to stop by Booth #74, register for the give-away, let us meet you, and have a blast at the fair. Also, by all means look at all the other photographer's work, meet them. Then come back to Booth #74 and let us take complete care of you with your photography needs. I know that saying our clients are most important to us, our customer satisfaction is our top priotity.... are really common buzz words. But, with Mauldin Photography it is not just something I say. I live it! My clients are thrilled with our service and photography - or I am not happy.

So come by, sit on the lime green love seat, look at our album selections, and let's get to know how we can be the studio to give you beautiful and timeless portraits from your wedding day. You deserve the best! - Cheryl

Dane & Jill

Last weekend I photographed Dane & Jill's wedding. It has been so much fun getting to know them and their parents. When I get the opportunity to photograph the engagement and brial sessions, it always make the wedding more exciting for me. I love being able to really get to know the couple, learn about their personalities, and meet the families before the wedding day.

I have had so much fun getting to know you guys and learning about what makes you so special as a couple. Your wedding was so touching and personal. The way you look at each other and interact with each other is so sweet, and I was so glad I could capture that in your portraits. Your families and friends were awesome, and treated me like a friend of the family. I had more fun photographing you than I've had in a long time!

I had so many favorites, it was really hard for me to narrow it down to such a small number to post here. Your gallery will hopefully be posted on the site next week. I hope you love them as much as I do! - Cheryl

Welcome Home Dane and Jill!

I hope you guys had a blast in the Smoky Mountains. I have sorted through all your wedding portraits...about 600 of them. I really had a hard time picking my favorites to post on the blog, but finally did pick them. I haven't wanted to post them until I knew you guys were home and could see them. So, later tonight I will post a preview! Welcome back! - Cheryl

Kenneth & Sharlynn

So, I am driving to a wedding a few months ago and I got a call on my cell phone from a young man in the Air Force looking for a photographer. He and his fiance are from Salt Lake City and planning a summer wedding. After talking a little while, I booked a January, outdoor engagement session.... in Arkansas. Winter in Arkansas is SO unpredictable, so I was a little nervous. I was even more nervous when it was 20 degrees Wednesday night!

But, who would have guessed that we would have 65 degree weather on a Saturday in January? I met Kenneth and Sharlynn on this beautiful day at Old Mill and we shot for an hour. We had lots of fun and LOTS of laughs! They are so cute and photogenic.

I had a blast with you guys! I wish you lots of luck in the future. Kenneth, please be safe wherever the Air Force takes you! Your slideshows are in the works. In the meantime, here's a little preview... - Cheryl

Angel Rae

I had the pleasure of going to the hospital to photograph the first baby born in 2008 at Harris Hospital. The studio was glad to donate some products and sessions to the Happy New Year Baby, Angel Rae. I spent about an hour with baby and Mom and captured some beautiful images of this beautiful baby boy.

We'll get to see Angel Rae grow up, as we photograph him every three months! I am so excited, I know he will grow up fast. Here are some of my favorite images.
