If you are waiting for your order....

I know everyone who has placed a portrait order or is waiting for delivery of their wedding album is wondering when they will be in. I have been working hard to get all the orders caught up and sent to the lab for printing. All the wedding albums that I have orders for are currently in production at the printing company. I am hopeful that every order that is currently in will make it in time for Christmas.

If you have not placed your order, time is really running out. Lab and printers get swamped this time of year. And, we all know what happens to mail time as everyone starts ordering their presents online and sending Christmas cards.... So absolutely anything you would like to order and have back in time for Santa needs to be placed no later than December 5th. Those orders will have to include rush delivery. No orders for Christmas delivery will be accepted or guaranteed after December 5th!

I appreciate everyone's patience. October and November were incredibly busy months for us, and we have you all to thank for that. I'll be in touch as soon as your order arrives!

Dane & Jill

I met up with Dane and Jill at Sugarloaf Mountain on Sunday afternoon to do their engagement portraits. Let's just say at an undisclosed location at Sugarloaf Mountain... Actually Dane picked the very spot he proposed to Jill, which I thought was so sweet. Dane was a little worried he have a "cheesy" smile, but he loosened up toward the end of the session. I think the portraits are just awesome and their personalities together really come through. This session really makes me look forward to the bridal session in a couple of weeks and the wedding.

I'll be working to get your whole gallery posted to the website over the weekend. I had lots of fun, and hope you guys enjoyed the afternoon. I'll bet the fisherman are still wondering.... See you next weekend! - Cheryl

Paul & Kelly's Wedding

We spent Saturday photographing the wedding of Paul and Kelly. It was great to finally meet all of them and put faces with the names. I have to say these two families were so sweet and incredibly easy to work with. We had so much fun! Paul and Kelly are just a gorgeous couple and they planned a beautiful wedding. Everyone seemed to enjoy the whole day. It was difficult to take a bad photograph of these two. And, I have to say it was just so sweet the way they looked at each other. They are obviously very much in love - and his face just lit up everytime he looked at her. Awww..... There are hundreds of portraits, so I know it will be a week or so before I can get those uploaded to the gallery. In the meantime, enjoy the sneak peek.

Paul and Kelly, thank you so much for letting me have the honor of photographing your wedding. I just love your whole family! I hope you guys had a blast in the Smoky Mountains. - Cheryl

Giving Back!

You know sometimes just a small thing you do makes you feel so good! We had decided to support the area youth programs through our photography this year. Incentive rebates programs were available to any school / community group or team through team portraits. The studio also participated with PPA Charities in Operation Smile, which benefits children with cleft lip, cleft lip and other facial deformities. For the month of October, we were able to make donations to the Newport Peewee Cheerleaders, Newport Soccer Association and Operation Smile! And, I have to tell you, it felt really good to write those checks!

The studio will continue to contribute to Operation Smile through the end of November, from all portrait sales. If you have not scheduled your family portrait session, please call today because availability is very limited.

Thank you to all our clients who made these contributions possible to three very worthwhile groups. Together we CAN make a difference in the life of a child!
