I traveled to Fayetteville to photograph the wedding of Ashley and Chris over the weekend. I met Ashley and Chris at another wedding I photographed back in February. They are such a fun couple, and obviously very much in love. There was so much emotion in almost every image. Ashley wanted a small, private and intimate wedding and chose St. Catherine's at Bell Gable for the ceremony. I had never photographed there and was so excited. The setting is just gorgeous and they had the most romantic and intimate wedding. I went through all the images and wanted to post some of my favorites from the wedding day.
I thought this was the sweetest image of Chris and his daughter, Christian.Christian caught in action...As you can see, we had lots of fun...
This is my absolute favorite portrait of the happy couple
Ashley & Chris, thank you so much for including me in your wedding day. I had so much fun with you guys - it almost didn't seem like work. I hope you guys are having a blast in Mexico! Can't wait to see you at the reception next month! (And, a special thanks to our "cruise director", Annette, for keeping us all on schedule!) - Cheryl

Four Generations of Freer Women
I got to spend Saturday morning with Mrs Peytina Freer and her daughter, granddaughters and great-granddaughter to record the four generations of strong Freer women. We had scheduled portrait time early in the morning to beat the heat and woke up to a beautiful morning in the park. Even though the grass was filled with dew and everyone had damp shoes, it was a perfect morning.
I had beautiful subjects to work with and was honored to get to record the four generations portrait. It was impossible to take a bad photo of Ms. Peyton, who has to be the most gorgeous baby I know. She has more personality and facial expressions - she had me cracked up practically the whole time.
I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek, because I know you are waiting patiently for your gallery to be posted. Thank you for including me in this special event in your lives! (Your gallery will be posted by the weekend!)
It looks like Aunt Whitney is her play buddy...
But Mommy gets all the lovin'...

Shonell & Lorenzo Sneek Peek!
I spent Saturday photographing the wedding of Shonell and Lorenzo. I met Shonell back in the Spring to begin planning her photography, but didn't get to meet Lorenzo until Saturday. They have a long history together and you can tell they love each other very much. To say that I had fun would be an understatement. This wedding was a blast - her bridal party were some crazy girls. This was a day about love and family - very intimate and gorgeous.
I wanted to share a few of my favorite images from their wedding.
My favorite image of Shonell
The guys were not such big fans of all the photography. It was hot and sunny - not to mention they were dressed in layers. And, let's be honest - most guys don't enjoy the photography like the girls do. And, did I mention that it was hot! But before the day was over, they were hamming for me! Look out GQ...
One of the sweetest moments was when Lorenzo stopped in the aisle to kiss his son
And, of course, no wedding is complete without a little princess...
And, if David's Bridal is looking for cover models...
We had an opportunity to sneek away between the wedding and reception to do the couple's portrait at the lake. I am so glad that Shonell suggested this.
Shonell and Lorenzo, thank you so much for including my in your wedding day. I think you have an amazing family, and wish you all the luck and love in the world! I had a blast and hope you guys did, too. Have a great time in Vegas! - Cheryl
Collages and Scrapbook Pages
Last week I mentioned some new products for sports. I think the new collages and scrapbook pages are really going to be HOT this year. This is a great souvenier and a perfect way to feature the athlete of the family. No two pages are ever alike, because I design the pages from the images you select. The possibilities are endless.
Collages are available in 8x10, 10x10 or 12x12. The 10x10 and 12x12 pages are already sized to insert into a scrapbook. Text can be added to personalize the page, and is no additional charge. Each page can feature one to five images. This is a great way to put together sequence action shots - thanks to Gary Shumate, Gunner Bullard, and McCabe Cordell for providing these action shots!
Just have one favorite image, but still want a scrapbook page. Not a problem. Single images can be used for 10x10 or 12x12 scrapbook pages. Text still added at no charge.

New Wedding Vendor
If you are looking for a wedding coordinator - you have to call Theresa Timmons at Impressions of U. I met Theresa over the weekend at Shonell and Nathan's wedding. Theresa and her crew did an amazing job. Darius Nelson created stunning floral arrangements for both the church and the reception site. He must have been removing leaves from flowers for days. Impressions of U took care of every little detail and created a very personal and intimate wedding and reception.
It is so hard sometimes to find just the right people to "partner" with in this business. Not every one lives up to their advertising tag line. There are no "do-overs" with weddings or once in a lifetime events. I am always looking for coordinators, florist, etc, for client referrals. So if you are getting married or planning an event, you should contact Theresa at 501-247-5497 or impressionsofu@yahoo.com.
I am so glad that I met Theresa and Darius, and all the crew of Impressions of U. You guys are first class!
